Green Talk: Platform for Climate Investment

The Danish Embassy cooperates with IRENA and the State of Green to organize and host a joint webinar about investments in the development, research, and employment of renewable energy and projects relating to climate and global warming issues. Mr. Ahmed Badr of IRENA will offer a gist of the developments of IRENA towards developmental projects for climate and investments for climate issues.

This is a virtual event focusing on promoting the Climate Investment Platform or CIP to stakeholders to pave the way for future engagements and possibly catalyze some renewable energy investments. This webinar is scheduled to take place on December 15, 2020, Tuesday from 12:00-1:00.

A panel discussion will be spearheaded by the State of Green’s executive director, Finn Mortensen. The discussion will feature major stakeholders from the Danish sectors, including the key person from Pension Denmark, Torben Morger, Torben Huss of the Developing Countries’ Investment Fund, and Ole Sorensen from the noted Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.
